And guess what, it works. Look at how many every-day democrats and liberals consider the Tea Party to be "extreme", and consider small government, traditional values, fiscal moderation to be "extreme" positions. People are susceptible to being manipulated, and the left has successfully mastered the message and the delivery methods.
Christians and Conservatives are being persecuted here in America and around the world on a daily basis. They are being forced to compromise their principles, being censored and told what they can and cannot read, being intimidated daily by the instruments of government intimidation and oppression through the use of scare tactics such as has been recently revealed regarding the IRS and their abuse of power aimed at silencing Conservatives for their political gain.
Christians are told they cannot mention God at commencement speeches, cannot pray on or near school grounds. They are being told their companies and faith organizations must violate their beliefs and offer birth control as a benefit to their employees, just to name a few.
These occurrences seem to be accelerating at an alarming rate. The current administration and the left in general appear more emboldened as they reach farther and farther into our lives and homes. They have been strategic and thoughtful in their advances, looking on cautiously to see what the response will be from the once known as "watchdogs of power". And with each passing day, each passing story that gets minimized or ignored altogether they grow more emboldened and step further out of the shadows and into the open.
I suspect this looks somewhat like Nazi Germany did in the years leading up to WWII and the Holocaust. I do not mean to sound dramatic, but we are watching history repeat itself here in America. A few short years ago I was confident that there were enough Americans that could stand in the way of the diabolical agenda of the Obama Administration and his Marxist/Communist apparatus.
Today, after the failed 2012 election and numerous blatant abuses of power, I am not so sure. In fact, for the first time in my life, I am somewhat fearful of what may be right around the corner. Not because of weakness or timidity. No, I am ready to fight and do whatever is necessary to defeat the enemies of this country that seek to "fundamentally transform" it into something it was never intended to be.
But I see the parallels of history. I see the doors being slowly swung open and the dogs being unleashed onto the American people. The mechanisms that our Founding Fathers put in place to prevent this have been and are being trampled. The next thing that comes is a natural consequence of what is happening now, what the left has been marching towards for almost a hundred years. And sadly, after all I've witnessed in horror the last few years, and especially the last few months, I fear they are very close.
Everything is in place, all they need to do now is effectively demonize those they ultimately want to destroy. This step is critical to gain the support of the American people when they unleash their "final solution". They have shifted into overdrive since the advent of the Tea Party, emboldened by their successful demonization using Alinsky tactics. Saul Alinsky would be proud, even the left must be a little in awe of how well his tactics have worked over the last few years. Republicans are on the run, scared to death of being the target of the left's smear machine. The media has fallen in line and refuses to do their job. The youth of this country have been successfully indoctrinated into the lefts Anti-American ideology, they now believe that Capitalism is bad and Socialism is good.
The final, master stroke of the left will be when they have successfully indoctrinated enough Americans into believing that the Conservative right is dangerous and must be stopped by any means necessary. They are getting closer and closer to this one every day. We are racist, homophobic, bigots, anti-abortion, hate women, want to put blacks back in chains, hate the poor and want to keep them poor. Sound familiar? I interact with liberals every day that spew this nonsense as if it is reality. They believe all of these lies.
Once they are confident they have built up enough resentment and hatred towards the right, it is at this point that they will begin rounding us up, at gun point if necessary. It may not be to put us into gas chambers, but it will involve a series of choices. Re-education being the first choice you will be given.
Resistance will be met with deadly force. Para-military forces are being trained right now to go door to door and shoot anything that puts up the slightest resistance. Remember Obama's army? Just as well armed, just as well funded? Urban assault vehicles are showing up on our city streets, DHS is stockpiling ammo and buying up unprecedented numbers of assault weapons. Just last week there was an urban "terrorist" training exercise in downtown Los Angeles. They are conditioning us to see these things and walk the other way, in effect "normalizing" this activity.
They will be telling the remaining public it is for their own good, just as they are telling us today that the trampling of our God given civil rights is for our own good. Obama doesn't need to give any such orders, his followers are all operating from the same playbook. Call it what you want, Communism, Marxism, Totalitarianism, etc. It all adds up to the end of America and the beginning of a period of world history that will bring unimaginable suffering and loss not just here in America, but around the world.
We are but one piece of a global puzzle that is disintegrating into chaos. Islam is on the march throughout the Middle East and even Europe. Multiculturalism is destroying western civilization from within. Communism is in the ascendancy. A little here, a little there, all nudging the world towards chaos.
You may read this and think I am crazy, or you may see what I see, with eyes wide open and feel the natural sense of fear that is appropriate for this time in our lives, in our history. Nobody can predict when this series of events will lead to what I have just described, but there can be no doubt that we are on that path. I would not be surprised if it happened tomorrow, but I will also not be surprised if it does not happen in my lifetime. Although, it looks to me the left see's the victory line and is bolting straight for it. So, my money is on sooner rather than later.
The only questions remaining to answer then are will the forces on the other side be able to stop what seems almost inevitable? Will the law prevail in the coming months and turn the tide of radical overreach? Will anyone be held accountable for all of the injustices that have occurred since Obama took office? Will the media wake up and do its job? Will there be enough political will on the right to speak the truth and demand justice? I don't know, but as of today it doesn't look so good for our side. And that should be a concern for all Americans.
