President Obama Denounces Republican ‘Wild Debts’: I’m Not an Over-Spender

“I’m running to pay down our debt in a way that’s balanced and responsible. After inheriting a $1 trillion deficit, I signed $2 trillion of spending cuts into law,” he told a crowd of donors at the Hyatt Regency. “My opponent won’t admit it, but it’s starting to appear in places, like real liberal outlets, like the Wall Street Journal: Since I’ve been president, federal spending has risen at the lowest pace  in nearly 60 years. Think about that.”

Okay, this whopper of a statement is yet another example of how twisted the liberal reality and ideology is. Truth has no value or meaning to these radical Alinsky disciples.

Let's look at a few, top-of-my-head facts.

First of all, he did not inherit a $1 trillion dollar deficit, he is making up numbers here. The deficits under George Bush were in the few hundred billion dollar range at most each year, so how he gets to $1 trillion is curious math. Perhaps he is referring to the amount of total deficit that was accumulated under George Bush, that might make more sense. But liberals don't want the facts to get in the way of their ideologically driven aspirations. And unfortunately too many Americans are simply not paying close enough attention to dissect his manipulative comments.

One of the first orders of business of the overwhelmingly liberal Congress in early 2009 was the passage of the $482 billion Omnibus, remember that? They called it "unfinished business" from the Bush administration. The beginning of the financial train wreck that has been the Obama administration. The Omnibus was quickly followed up with the $787 billion Stimulus. Who can forget that? Remember it was all about urgency, all about speed, all about never letting a crisis go to waste. They set out to exploit the economic condition of the country, not fix it.

So, there's well over $1 trillion right out of the gate of additional spending over and above the previous administration in Obama's first quarter of his first year. That became the bar for the next 3 years, with an average annual budget in the $3.7 - $3.9 trillion range, a full trillion + over any previous budget of the Bush administration.

That makes his remark about federal spending rising at the slowest pace in nearly 60 years completely preposterous! Would somebody in the media PLEASE hold this guy at least a little accountable.Every annual budget of the Bush administration (back when they actually had a budget) was in the $2.5 - $2.7 trillion range. Every year of spending under Obama (no budgets have been released) has been in the $3.7 - $3.9 trillion range as mentioned above. I might be of a hundred billion here or there since I am going completely of the top of my head here, but you get the idea, check for yourself if you like.

His $2 trillion of so-called spending cuts is yet another clever liberal play of words to make something relatively small sound big. This is perhaps the most accurate part of the comment above, but the way it is said is designed to manipulate. He is speaking about annual deficits in the trillions, but then throws in the $2 trillion without mentioning anything about time. The fact is that his $2 trillion in cuts is over a 10 year period of time, or $200 billion a year, not so much when staring at $1.5 trillion annual deficits.

So why didn't he mention that inconvenient fact? That's what liberals do, manipulate, distort and flat out lie to get you to follow their completely misguided and destructive radical ways. It is insanity, all day, every day from them.

Obama is a pathological liar, it's that simple, but not because he is stupid, but because he is perhaps the most ideologically driven President this country has ever seen. It is of means and ends and he will say anything between now and November to get re-elected. It is the Alinsky way, and unfortunately it does work.

The media has abandoned their posts as the watchdogs of freedom and the wolves are at the door. Listen carefully to what these radical communist revolutionaries say, you can bet they are lying and you can bet it is to further an agenda that most of America does not agree with. Just try and get through the full article at the link above without your head exploding. It's pure lunacy and that is exactly what we are up against.
