As Governor Jan brewer set her sights on solving the illegal immigration issue in Arizona, she perhaps unknowingly took a page right out of the Alinsky playbook. And as could have been predicted, the results speak for themselves. As the tactic explains, “the others become visible by their support of the target.” All of the radicals that are trying to destroy this country are out in plain sight as they line up to attack the state of Arizona for attempting to solve its illegal immigration nightmare.
If conservatives weren’t sure who their opponents were before this battle began, they should be very sure now. SEIU and La Raza wasted no time organizing protests. There were hoards of angry immigrant protestors in the streets of nearly every major city across the country. City councils in liberal cities like San Francisco, Los Angeles, Austin and Seattle revealed their bias against the majority of America by passing boycott resolutions.
Let us not forget the immediate and constant drumbeat of disapproval that began at the very top with President Obama as he came out and attacked Governor Brewer directly and condemned the bill without even reading it. Attorney General Eric Holder followed suit with his attacks and threats of a Federal law suit only to admit to a congressional panel that he hadn’t even read the bill, followed by Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano – former Governor of Arizona – who also condemned the measure and then also had to admit that she hadn’t even read the bill. Al Sharpton wasted no time in his efforts to stir up racial hatred and outrage. He marched in protest during a Phoenix Suns – I mean ‘Los’ Suns – playoff game for maximum publicity.
This battle has nothing to do with the so-called racial profiling that the enemies of our country are claiming. They are lying, they know they are lying and nothing you say will get them to stop lying. This is their Alinsky tactic at work: “if you push a negative hard enough and deep enough, it will break through into its counterside”. In other words, repeat a lie enough and it becomes the truth. It is irrelevant if it is factually true or not, what counts is what people believe. The radicals have been manipulating public opinion this way for decades.
Have you ever wondered why they relentlessly put forward what seem like baseless arguments, that have absolutely no connection to reality? They know it has nothing to do with truth and everything to do with message, control the message and you control the outcome. They have won so many battles with this tactic it is mind numbing. Yet, so many conservatives continue to be baited into these phony arguments that do nothing more than to serve their end purpose by perpetuating a lie until it becomes truth. Remember, Sarah Palin is stupid, blood for oil, Bush lied-people died, Rush Limbaugh wants our country to fail, and on and on. They master the message and bait conservatives into arguments in order to repeat it until it becomes mainstream reality.
They know calling the bill racist will help weaken support for it. They know too many Americans are not paying close enough attention to look past their claims, claims that are usually nothing more than lies to further their radical agenda. They know it will test the resolve of those who support it for fear of being smeared as bigots and racists. This is their goal. This bill has to fail in order for the radicals to carry out their sinister agenda.
They know they cannot achieve permanent rule without the millions and millions of illegal’s flooding across our border and lining up to vote for their radical socialist agenda and against our supposedly oppressive and racist free market capitalist way of life. They can’t come right out and say this of course, but that is what we are fighting for. They could care less about the issue of equality and whether or not minorities are being profiled and potentially treated unfairly. These people are meaningless pawns in their quest for permanent rule.
As a result this fight will not go away. But it is a fight that must be continued, without compromise, without backing down. Those of us that know we are fighting for the heart and soul of this country cannot back down or give in under their relentless attacks. Their accusations of racism are already beginning to lose the power they once had to control conservatives. We are less and less intimidated by these accusations and more willing to stand up to their ugly personal attacks. We know we are right and they are wrong. As Alinsky says, we know we have all the angels on our side and all the devils are on their side. That means no backing down and especially no compromising. We must achieve absolute victory over these radicals if our country and American way of life is to be restored.
So, do not relent, do not waver. They are wrong and they can scream and yell all they want, boycott and smear, and in the end we will hold our ground and reclaim the sanity we all so desperately want to see restored in our country. Keep up the pressure, keep standing on truth and principle and do not concede an inch. True victory will be gained no other way. There is no room for compromise on this issue and the other critical issues we are fighting them on. We must endure all of the many insults and accusations that will come with taking a stand. But, we are on the right side of history and there is no other way to stop the radical assault that has been unleashed on our country.
