Bay Area Drivers Could Be Tracked By GPS, Taxed Per Mile Driven

It is outrageous that a government bureaucrat could make such a statement with a straight face. Do they actually believe that people are going to stand for this Big Brother nonsense? Have America's citizens been so dummed-down that they will see nothing wrong with having their every mile tracked and then being penalized with yet another tax for having traveled those miles?

This is yet more of the insanity we can continue to expect from the left, especially in California. It's not enough that they want to actually control the temperature in your own home-and to prevent you from having that simple power, they are now considering tracking your every move in your vehicle, and charging you for it. Isn't this what the founding fathers were referring to in the Declaration of Independence when they wrote:

"..That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.--Such has been the patient sufferance of these Colonies; and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter their former Systems of Government." - Declaration of Independence, July 4th, 1776

Just exactly how many more "abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object" are the American people going to endure? Every day we are a target of their continual abuse, oppression, radical ideology, character attacks and more as they pursue their end goal of liberal utopianism, all at our expense.

These are the people our founding fathers warned us about!
